It looks like that Hatchimal toy isn't worth the money

It looks like that Hatchimal toy is not worth the $50 or the $250 folks are willing to fork out in order to buy it.

A Hatchimal is a toy bird that goes through five different stages of development. The stages of development are the following the egg, hatching, baby, toddler, and kid.

According to some not-so-happy consumers, the toy is defunct. Some folks have complained about the Hatchimal not hatching, as well as the Hatchimal being still born after it has hatched.

Darren Logan tweeted, “I can see a hammer getting took to this hatchimal, it’s not working totally unresponsive.”

Brian Rager tweeted that it took him “two days” to get in contact with Hatchimal’s maker, Spinmaster, so that he could tell them that he had “a still born Hatchimal.”

The problem of defunct Hatchimals are so bad that in Aurora, Ontarior, the York Regional Police had to remind everyone that the police are only for human, and not toy, emergencies.

The York Regional Police tweeted, “TIP OF THE DAY-A shattered #Hatchimal might be devastating for a child, but it’s not a call to 9-1-1.”

The worse review of the Hatchimal came from an eight-year-old Kentucky girl named Mahaila.

WCPO’s John Matares quoted eight-year-old Mahaila as saying about the Hatchimal, “It spins and talks, but whenever it talks, it’s kind of annoying.”

Sooo, yeah, not only is there the problem of the Hatchimal failing to hatch or being still born when it does hatch, but there is also the problem of the full grown Hatchimal being “kind of annoying.”

And as folks know, a product tends to go out the window whenever the customers are not getting their intended use out of the product.

Spinmaster has since took notice of the many complaints and has decided to respond.

Spinmaster tweeted, “Hi fans! Thank you for reaching out. We have received your messages and are working hard to respond to all inquiries. Appreciate your patience.”

Whether the Hatchimal will be around for the next Christmas will depend upon Spinmaster listening to their customers and fixing the defects. Because as it stands, folks are on their last nerve with the Hatchimal that is DOA (Defunct on Arrival) and they will soon be unwilling to even pay twenty-five cents for the toy bird.
